The Sydney Fringe Festival Presents Forenzics @ Colbourne Ave, 4th September 2014
As part of Sydney’s Fringe Festival, the awesome folks at Glebe’s premier Jazz venue, Colbourne Ave have asked us to push the audio/visual boundaries into free synesthesia once more.
We’ll take you on a dark, noir-ish journey of sound and vision, with our sonic instincts and improvisation styles transforming post-rock, noise, jazz and electronic influences into an absolutely unique and engaging live experience. All enhanced by the intense yet atmospheric large scale live projections courtesy of RedCell Disorder.
The band’s line up for this show will feature, Dirk Kruithof on Guitar/Bass, Matthew Syres on Guitar, Joe Cummins on Trumpet, and Evan McGregor on Drums.
We’ll be playing two sets in this intimate and comfortable BYO venue. Doors open at 8pm, advance tickets available through The Sydney Fringe Website or on the door.
Forenzics Play StirrUp Gallery, Sunday 1st June 2014, 3pm
Forenzics play a free show this Sunday 1st June, at StirrUp Gallery, 142 Addison Road, Marrickville, for the closing party of the Desert/Forest exhibition. There’s an eclectic mix of live music playing throughout the afternoon, kicking off at 2pm. We’re on at 3pm and will be playing in our usual quartet format, though this time joined by long lost drummer Evan McGregor.
